Iguazu Falls - World's Largest Waterfall

Taller than Niagara Falls, and twice as wide; Iguazu Falls are the result of a volcanic eruption which left yet another large crack in the earth.

Yes! I have been there (on both Argentina side and Brazilian side, Argentina's view is better. It's crazy, because when you hike to a sightseeing spot, there is just waterfalls all around you. Its amazing. Don't go to Niagara, go to Iguazu-- SO MUCH BETTER.

more secluded and wild

It's much much wider than Niagara. There are over 300 individual waterfalls between Brazil and Argentina. All of the biggest waterfalls are on Brazilian side therefore viewing is better from Brazilian side. Argentinian side has more smaller falls but it's the BIG ones you want to see. You can also see a lot of the Argentinian falls from Brazilian side, whereas from Argentina you're closer to them. It's like watching Niagara falls from Canada and US. you're closer to the waterfalls on the US side but the view is better from Canada. There aren't nearly as many developments right at the falls. You have to get there by bus or cab from the city, about 20 minutes. Igacu is much more wild and seems untouched by human hand.
